Moscow: prices of aubergines

Last week at the Moscow wholesale market of fresh fruits and vegetables prices for aubergines were decreasing. The reason was increase in the volume of goods on the world market and decrease in supplier’s prices. Prices for field aubergines from Russia fell from 45-40 rubles (1.14-1.02 €) to 35-30 rubles (0.89-0.76 €) per kg. Price of this vegetables from Holland/Belgium decreased from 105-100 rubles (2.68-2.54 €) to 75-70 rubles (1.91-1.78 €) per kg. At the end of the week price for field aubergine from Russia further decreased to 30-25 rubles (0.76-0.64 €) per kg, for aubergine from Holland – to 70-65 rubles (1.78-1.65 €) per kg.
