Moscow: prices of domestic cucumbers and Chinese cabbage

Last week in Moscow one could observe rising prices for some domestic products due to their lower supply. For example, prices of short cucumbers increased from 13-17 rubles (0.33-0.43 €) to 18-20 rubles per kg. According to market participant’s expectations prices should back soon to the previous level.

At the same time at the market there were bigger supply of Chinese cabbage from Russia and a s a result prices fell from 22-27 rubles (0.56-0.68 €) to 20-24 rubles (0.51-0.61 €) per kg.
