Moscow: prices of sweet pepper and eggplants

Last week on the Moscow market, one could observe fluctuation in prices of sweet pepper imported from Holland and Belgium. It was due to lower supply of the product and higher prices from suppliers. Prices of red pepper increased from 100-110 rubles (2.23-2.59 euro) to 105-115 rubes (2.47-2.70 euro), price of colour pepper – from 95-105 rubles (2.23-2.47 euro) to 100-110 rubles (2.23-2.59 euro) per kg. However at the end of the week, prices returned to their previous levels.

Prices of eggplants imported from Spain fell from 75-80 rubles (1.76-1.88 euro) to 68-75 rubles (1.60-1.76 euro) per kg.
