Moscow: prices of tomatoes

Last week on Moscow market it could be observed an upward trend in prices of red cherry tomatoes from Israel due to reduction in supply. Prices reached 220-230 rubles (5.64-5.90 euro) per kg.
Prices of tomatoes imported from Turkey, by contrast, decreased from 65-75 rubles (1.67-1.92 euro) to 55-65 rubles (1.41-1.54 euro) per kg. it was a result of increasing volume of deliveries. By the end of the week, prices of Turkish tomatoes further fell to 45-50 rubles (1.15-1.28 euro) per kg. Price of Spanish plum tomatoes decreased from 70-75 rubles (1.79-1.92 euro) to 45-55 rubles ( 1.15-1.41 euro) per kg.
