Moscow: rise in cucumbers prices

In Moscow it was noted increase in price of cucumbers due to both supply reduction and price increases before the Christmas holidays.  Last week the price of cucumbers imported from Iran increased from 40-45 rubles (0.98-1.10 euros) to 45-50 rubles (1.10-1.23 euros) per kg and further to 50-55 rubles (1,10-1,35 euros) per kg.
By the end of the week the price of long cucumbers from Spain grew from 65-70 rubles (1.59-1.72 euros) up to 70-75 rubles (1.72-1.84 euros) per kg.
