Moscow: tomato prices continued to grow

Last week in Moscow it was noted further increase in prices of imported tomatoes. It was due to increasing demand, rising prices of transport services, as well as rising suppliers prices. However despite high prices, the demand for tomatoes remained at high level.

Price of tomatoes from Turkey increased from 60-64 (1.49-1.59 euro) up to 70-75 rubles (1.74-1.87 euro) per kg, and price of vine tomatoes from Israel increased from 100-105 (2.49-2.61 euro) to 130-136 rubles (3.24-3.39 euro) per kg.
