Poland: big demand for industrial sweet pepper

On Tuesday, September 8, in the big production area of sweet peppers (Przytyk in mazowieckie provinces), the price of red pepper for processing was 2 PLN (0.48 euro)/kg.

This year the demand from the processing plants is very high and probably even twice bigger amounts of this vegetable will easily find the recipients. Unfortunately, this year the weather was not favourable for the cultivation of peppers and on the market the supply of industrial pepper is not sufficient.
