Poland: big demand for white cabbage

On the market one can observe growing interest in white cabbage what can really result in high prices for this vegetable this season.

Interest in cabbage is really big and potential recipients, also from other countries, are looking for cabbage even in those parts of Poland, where cabbage is not cultivated. On Tuesday, November 3 the price of white cabbage destined for export reached even 0.60 PLN (0.14 euro)/kg, however it was still possible to buy it at 0.50 PLN (0.12 euro)/kg.
