Poland: cauliflowers still expensive

We informed that since the beginning of September the supply of cauliflowers increased, however not everywhere. At the moment prices of cauliflowers are decreasing in lubelskie province.

In the central part of Poland (mazowieckie and łódzkie provinces) one still has to wait for bigger crop. Prices in this area are relatively still high – 2.00–2.50 PLN (0.48-0.60 euro)/pcs. for cauliflowers packed into cartons. The purchase of cauliflowers for processing has already started. The demand is quite big and prices are at the level 0.90 – 1.00 PLN (0.22-0.24 euro)/kg.
