Poland: decline in prices of imported onion

This week prices of onion imported from the Netherlands have considerably decreased. On Thursday, May 21, on the wholesale market in Bronisze,  the price of such onion was 0.50 – 0.60 PLN (0.11-0.14 euro)/kg and was very similar to prices of domestic onion.

Last week prices of imported onion reached even 0.80 PLN (0.18 euro)/kg.
