Poland: decrease in prices of tomatoes

After a long period with upward trend in prices of imported tomatoes, this week tomatoes prices started decreasing.

On Monday, January 18th on the wholesale market in Bronisze the price of Spanish tomatoes size G was 38 PLN (9.43 euro)/6 kg i.e. about 10 % less than last week’s price 42 - 44 PLN (10.42-10.92 euro)/carton.
