Poland: decrease in prices of tomatoes

At the beginning of the week tomatoes still became more expensive, and their high prices were stable till Wednesday.

On Thursday, July 23 the situation changed and prices of tomatoes much decreased from 18 PLN (4.24 euro) to 14 PLN (3.30 euro) for 6 kg of B tomatoes. The price of BB tomatoes decreased from 20 PLN (4.72 euro)/carton to 16 PLN (3.77 euro)/carton and even 14 PLN (3.30 euro)/carton in wielkopolskie province. One can expect further decrease in prices of tomatoes.
