Poland: did the frost affect Chinese cabbage?

So far there wasn’t big frost. The temperature didn’t drop below -6 º C, so probably Chinese cabbage wasn’t much affected.

In some areas (e.g. Przytyk, mazowieckie province) temperature didn’t fall even to -5 º C, what allows to have a hope for a good quality of cabbage and its long storage. Prices of Chinese cabbage are stable. The price of cabbage intended for export (size 800 - 1300 g), packed in cardboard boxes is 1.05 – 1.15 PLN (0.24-0.27 euro)/kg (mazowieckie province). The price of cabbage size 500 - 1500 g is 0.80 PLN (0.17 euro)/kg.
