Poland: difficult export of cherries

We already wrote about problems with this year's export of cherries. Due to adverse weather conditions it’s difficult to find good quality cherries which could be chilled and transported.

So the export is high risky. According to our information only dark varieties of cherries(e.g. Cordia) can intended for export. On Wednesday, July 15 the price of cherries for export, size 22 mm+, was 3.50 – 4.50 PLN (0.82-1.05 euro)/kg.
