Poland: do processing plants need sour cherries?

The purchase prices of sour cherries at the level 0.45 PLN (0.11 euro)/kg seem to give the negative answer to above question.

Prices of sour cherries are already so low that their picking is completely unprofitable. Processing plants which limit the purchase of sour cherries and reduce the purchase prices seem to send the clear information to fruit growers – we don’t need Polish sour cherries.
