Poland: end of apricots harvest, big crops of peaches

The harvest of apricots is slowly ending. This year crops of apricots are high and as a result their prices were very often only 1.00 PLN (0.24 euro)/kg.

At the moment the supply of apricots is already lower so their prices are increasing. On Tuesday, August 18 the price was 2 – 3 PLN (0.48-0.72 euro)/kg. Similar to apricots the crops of peaches are very high this yea what resulted in very low prices. At the moment in south of Poland, where there are a lot of peaches orchards, prices are only 0.50 – 0.60 PLN (0.12-0.14 euro)/kg.
