Poland: fluctuation in prices of early cabbage

At the moment the prices of early cabbage are fluctuating much. One can observe it both in the central as well as in the southern Poland. On Wednesday, May 20, in the centre of Poland the price fluctuated from 1.50 to 2.50 PLN (0.34-0.57 euro)/pcs.

In southern Poland where prices are generally lower, Wednesday’s price of early cabbage was from 1.00 to 1.50 PLN (0.23-0.34 euro)/pcs. Fluctuation in prices of early cabbage is probably caused by big variation in supply and demand.
