Poland: further decrease in prices of domestic sweet peppers

Prices of domestic sweet peppers have been decreasing for a few weeks. At the moment the weather is favourable for their growth so on the market there is rather big supply.

On Tuesday, in the area of Przytyk (big production area) the price of red sweet peppers packed into cartons was 3.15 PLN (0.76 euro)/kg i.e. by 0.15 PLN (0.04 euro)/kg less than week earlier), the price of white pepper was 2.20 PLN (0.53 euro)/kg i.e. by 0.30 PLN (0.07 euro)/kg less), and price of green pepper was 2.10 (0.51 euro)/kg i.e. by 0.10 PLN (0.02 euro)/kg less.
