Poland: further decrease in prices of greenhouse cucumbers

At the beginning of the week the price of greenhouse cucumbers again decreased. On Monday, June 22 the price of long cucumbers was from 1.20 PLN (0.26 euro)/kg and the price of short cucumbers was from 1.60 PLN (0.35 euro)/kg.

However the average prices of cucumbers are higher due to higher prices of cucumbers in the south of Poland where the supply of cucumbers is lower at the moment. So on Monday the average prices were 1.55 PLN (0.34 euro)/kg for long cucumbers and 1.80 PLN (0.39 euro)/kg for short cucumbers.
