Poland: further increase in tomatoes and cucumbers prices

As it was expected, the beginning of the week brought increase in prices of tomatoes.

On Monday, December 14th, on the wholesale market in Bronisze, the price of tomatoes imported from Spain, size G (BB) was from 34 to 36 PLN (8.21-8.69 euro)/carton 6 kg.

At the end of last week price of tomatoes was to 28 PLN (6.76 euro)/carton 6 kg. As in the case of tomatoes, prices of imported cucumbers also much increased.

On Monday prices of cucumbers imported from Spain were 32 – 35 PLN (7.73-8.45 euro)/4.5 kg, while last week their maximum price was 28 PLN (6.76 euro)/4.5 kg.
