Poland: further increase in tomatoes prices

At the beginning of the week prices of tomatoes increased again.

On the market one can observe big demand for tomatoes so it is not surprising that their prices increase. Frosty weather that makes the trade difficult, additionally increases prices of tomatoes.

On Monday, December 21st, on the wholesale market in Bronisze the price of Spanish tomatoes increased to 36 - 38 PLN (8.59-9.07 euro)/carton 6 kg.
