Poland: Golden Delicious cheaper than last year

The first lots of Golden Delicious appeared on the wholesale market but prices are rather low – only to 0.80 PLN (0.19 euro)/kg.

Last year in the corresponding time the price of these apples was over 1.00 PLN (0.23 euro)/kg. Low prices are a result of very low export to Russia, where Golden Delicious is very popular.
