Poland: growing demand for carrot

Increase in demand for washed carrot (especially washed mechanically) could be observed on the wholesale markets already before Christmas. At the moment one can still observe upward trend in demand for such carrot.

On Tuesday, December 29th the price of best quality carrot was from 0.80 PLN (0.19 euro)/kg to 1.00 PLN (0.24 euro)/kg, i.e. minimum 0.20 PLN (0.048 euro)/kg more than last week.
