Poland: growing supply of imported carrot

On the Polish market there are more and more carrot imported from the Netherlands due to growing prices of domestic carrot.

Last week prices of Polish carrot reached even 1.00 PLN (0.25 euro)/kg. On Monday, January 18th prices of Dutch carrots was from 0.90 PLN (0.22 euro)/ kg to 1.20 PLN (0.30 euro)/kg.

Currently, the supply of domestic carrot of good quality is low.

However the quality of Dutch carrot is not always better than quality of Polish one.
