Poland: high demand for pears

Predictions of good season for pears producers seem to be confirmed. In other EU countries producing pears one can also observe the high demand for this fruit.

In Poland on Tuesday, December 1, the price of Lucas pears was 1.70 – 1.90 PLN (0.41-0.46 euro)/kg (60 +, with packaging).
