Poland: high supply of vegetables imported from Italy

This time of year the imported vegetables usually play the important role on the market . This year one can observe large increase in the supply of vegetables imported from Italy f.g. lettuces, ribbed celery, radishes and dill.

Many trading companies, which in previous years focused only on citrus fruit, this year extended its offer just to vegetables from Italy.

The reason is easy import from this country and as a result large increase in supply of products and increasing competition. Vegetable prices fall as companies cut profit margins.
