Poland: important producer of bilberries

Poland is the first producer as regards area of production and the second one as regards the level of crops of bilberries in Europe.

The world production of bilberries is being assessed at the level of 150-240 thousand ton (in Poland of 4-15 thousand ton). In Europe Germany is the biggest producer as regards crops (10 thousand ton).
