Poland: increase in prices of imported sweet pepper

Prices of red peppers imported from Spain were increasing last days. The domestic pepper is finished and at the moment mainly Spanish pepper is available.

Pepper from Spain will compete with pepper from Netherlands. The Dutch pepper is considered by many traders and buyers as better than Spanish. On Tuesday, November 10, on the wholesale market in Bronisze, the price of Spanish pepper was 26 - 27 PLN (6.19-6.43 euro)/5 kg.
