Poland: insufficient supply of courgettes

This year in June the weather adversely affects the vegetation of most vegetables, also courgettes. And the unfavourable weather is the main reason that the supply of courgettes is insufficient.

As a result the prices of this vegetable is relatively high. On Wednesday, June 24 the price of courgettes packed into cartons still exceeded the level of 3 PLN (0.66 euro)/kg and was about 3.40 PLN (0.75 euro)/kg.
