Poland: low prices of carrot

The supply of carrots is high and as a result its price is low. The wholesale price of good quality washed carrot is from 0.45 PLN (0.11 euro)/kg.

The highest prices (0.75 – 0.80 PLN (0.18-0.19 euro)/kg) concern the best, mechanically cleaned carrot. The supply of carrot for processing is also high. The price of such carrot is 0.21 -0.25 PLN (0.05-0.06 euro)/kg.
