Poland: low prices of sour cherries for processing

The prices of sour cherries intended for juice concentrate are lower than last year. In podkarpackie province the purchase price of such sour cherries is about 0.70 PLN (0.16 euro)/kg (in purchasing centers).

In wielkopolskie province the price in processing plants is from 0.80 (0.19 euro) to 1.00 PLN (0.23 euro)/kg. In the łódzkie province the price is also 1 PLN (0.23 euro)/kg. Last year the average price of sour cherries in purchasing centers was 0.90 PLN (0.21 euro)/kg, and in processing plants 1.06 PLN (0.25 euro)/kg.
