Poland: low supply of apples Paula Red

As it was for apples of Early Geneva variety, the supply of apples Paula Red in the area of Grójec isn’t big.

The lower supply of apples is a result of adverse weather conditions and especially May frost. However prices of Paula Red in the central part of Poland are similar to prices in the south of Poland, where there are more apples. On Thursday, August 13 prices of apples Paula Red was 0.80 – 1.00 PLN (0.19-0.24 euro)/kg (without the package).
