Poland: May – the month of early cabbage

In the spring early cabbage is one of the most popular vegetables in Poland. One can observe it on the wholesale markets, where the demand for early cabbage is quite big and its supply is growing.

On Wednesday, May 6 price of domestic early cabbage was from 1.70 to 2.70 PLN (0.39-0.61 euro)/pcs depending on quality. The price of imported cabbage was 2.80 - 4.00 PLN (0.64-0.91 euro)/pcs depending on country of origin.
