Poland: only domestic carrot available

The wholesale price of the best quality carrots, mechanically cleaned, are at the level of 0.80 – 1.00 PLN (0.25 euro)/kg. The price of carrot of slightly worse quality is from 0.50 PLN (0.12 euro)/kg.

So far only domestic carrot is available on the market. However, one can expect soon carrots from the Netherlands. It depends of course on prices in this country.

In the corresponding period of last year carrot was cheaper there and already in mid-January appeared on the Polish market.
