Poland: poor quality of Chinese cabbage

The quality of Chinese cabbage is poor due to adverse weather conditions. Too much rain causes that the cabbage is easily rotting. Such situation resulted in lower export of Chinese cabbage.

Exporters don’t want to risk the shipment of poor quality cabbages. On the market one can observe very low supply of good quality Chinese cabbage what probably result in prices increase in the near future. At the moment price of Chinese cabbage is 1.00 – 1.30 PLN (0.24-0.31 euro)/kg.
