Poland: prices of domestic sweet peppers

Despite many summer storms, warm and sunny weather are favourable for growth of sweet peppers. Prices of peppers are rather stable with slight downward trend.

On Tuesday, August 4 in the big production area (Przytyk in mazowieckie province) the price of red and yellow sweet peppers packed in cartons was 3.30 PLN (0.80 euro)/kg. The price of white pepper was 2.50 PLN (0.61 euro)/kg and the price of green pepper was 2.20 PLN (0.54 euro)/kg.
