Poland: prices of white and Chinese cabbages

We already reported that in the current season, white cabbage producers situation is somewhat better than last year, because its price is slowly increasing.

On Thursday, September 10 the price of this cabbage ranged from 0.35 to 0.45 PLN (0.08-0.11 euro)/kg. One can also see that the supply of cabbage is lower than last year and so far the demand is quite high. Opposite trend in prices one can observe in the case of Chinese cabbage. After a period when the price was stable, it began to decrease. On Thursday, prices of Chinese cabbage (without the packages) were from 0.70 PLN (0.17 euro)/kg and had a downward trend.
