Poland: problem with quality of white cabbage

Due to adverse weather (warm and wet) a lot of vegetables, also white cabbages, are affected by many diseases.

It is more and more difficult to buy the white cabbage of good quality and in consequence its price is increasing. On Thursday, August 20 the price was from 0.30 to 0.45 PLN (0.07-0.11 euro)/kg (for heads to 4 kg). Probably the price won't stop at this level because one can observe quite high demand for white cabbage at the moment.
