Poland: purchase prices of black currants slightly higher than in 2008

The purchase prices of black currants have slightly increased since the beginning of purchase campaign.

Compared with prices of other fruit, price of black currants aren’t bad. However the expectation of fruit growers are still higher. At the moment the purchase price of black currants is 2.00 – 2.20 PLN (0.47-0.51 euro)/kg and they are higher than last year.
