Poland: sunny weather in September – high supply of cucumbers

Sunny weather and relatively warm nights in the first half of September caused that the supply of cucumbers grown under protection is now higher than in some periods of the summer months.

The price of long cucumbers remain stable for a long time. On Thursday, September 17, the maximum price of such cucumbers as well as short cucumbers packed in cardboard boxes was of 2.00 PLN (0.48 euro)/kg.
