Poland: tomatoes more expensive in the south

Last week the decrease in supply of tomatoes caused increase in their prices, especially in the south of Poland.

On Friday, August 14 in central part of the country prices stopped at the level 11 PLN (2.67 euro)/carton of 6 kg for B tomatoes and 12 PLN (2.91 euro)/carton for BB tomatoes. In south ( podkarpackie province) price of B tomatoes was 13 PLN (3.15 euro)/carton and price of BB tomatoes was 14 PLN (3.40 euro)/carton.
