Poland: variation in demand for different types of cabbages

We already wrote about big supply and low prices of Chinese cabbage. On the contrary, the price of red cabbage are quite satisfied for producer. Of course it concerns only the cabbage of good quality, not too big.

On Thursday, November 2, in mazowieckie province the price of such good quality cabbage was almost 1.00 PLN (0.24 euro)/kg, however the most often prices were at the level 0.50 – 0.60 PLN (0.12-0.14 euro)/kg.

As regards white cabbage the demand is a little bit lower. As a result of earlier increase in prices of this vegetable the supply increased too much and prices stopped growing.

On Thursday, the price of white cabbage was 0.50 – 0.60 PLN (0.12-0.14 euro)/kg.
