Price of eating apples

Low prices of eating apples are still staying. On Wednesday, October 8th the prices (without packaging) of apples of 7+ size ranged from 0.14 to 0.26 EUR/kg depending on variety.

Prices of apples intended for export was about 0.29 EUR/kg. There is a big supply of apples and quite big quantities of apples of poor quality. Apples of the good quality are put into cold stores in expectation of better prices.
