Price of onion

We have already informed that the Central Statistical Office (GUS) estimated this year's crop of onion at considerably lower level than last year.

However so far there is enough onion on the market and the prices remain stable. One can only notice that price of onion is different in some regions of Poland. In areas where there are a lot of onions prices are much lower at the level 0.086 - 0.10 euro/kg. However there are regions of Poland where price of onion is by about 0.028 euro/kg higher. Of course sorted onion of high quality is the most expensive and its price is 0.143 – 0.171 euro/kg.
