Prices of carrot

The domestic carrot’s market is calm, the demand is low, supply is sufficient and Polish product has to compete with imported carrot of better quality. As a result prices are practically stable. The price of the best quality domestic carrot is 1.10-1.40 PLN (0.28-0.36 euro)/kg what means increase by only 0.10 PLN (0.03 euro)/kg during last month. However despite the low demand prices of domestic product are relatively high and in consequence the export of carrot is rather poor. Prices of carrot imported from Holland decreased from over 1.50 PLN (0.39 euro)/kg to 1.30-1.40 PLN (0.33-0.36 euro)/kg.
