Prices of carrot for processing and for export

Harvests of carrot in the current season are assessed at 800 thousand ton i.e. by 15 percent less than last year.

In podkarpackie province in processing plants prices of carrot for cubes is 0.057 - 0.063 euro/kg. It is the same price level what last year. Carrot for slices is more expensive and its price is 0.092 - 0.097 euro/kg.

Carrot purchased for the export is achieving higher prices. In łódzkie province the purchase price of unwashed carrot and diameter of 30-40 mm, in mesh bags of 10 kg is 0.118-0.13 euro/kg). The highest prices of carrot (0.157 - 0.170 euro/kg) are in małopolskie province.
