Prices of citrus fruit on the Polish market

At the beginning of the year prices of imported fruit are stable.

The demand for Spanish oranges, mandarins and lemons is still quite big. On Monday, January 11th on the wholesale market in Bronisze the price of mandarins of bigger sizes, packed loose was 4.50 PLN (1.11 euro)/kg. The price of good quality, big oranges was 3.60 – 4.50 PLN (0.89-1.11 euro)/kg. Price of Spanish lemons was 4.00 - 4.60 PLN (0.98-1.13 euro)/kg.

The demand for grapefruit is lower. The price of grapefruit imported from Turkey was 43 - 50 PLN (10.59-12.31 euro)/15 kg.
