Prices of cucumbres

Lower temperatures influenced supply and prices of greenhouse cucumbers. On Wednesday, October 13 the price of short cucumbers was 4.00-5.00 PLN (1.00-1.26 euro)/kg. Due to bigger supply the price of long cucumbers was lower – 3.00 PLN (0.76 euro)/kg in the south of Poland and 3.70 – 4.00 PLN (0.93-1.00 euro)/kg in central part of the country. First cucumbers imported from Holland appeared on the market. Their prices were similar to prices of domestic cucumbers – 4.00-5.00 PLN (1.00-1.26 euro)/kg.
