Prices of deep-frozen peas

Since 2004 export prices of Polish deep-frozen peas systematically have been increasing. In 2004 price was 0.45 EUR/kg and in 2007 - 0.59 EUR/kg.

The demand for this product is more and more big. This year purchase prices of peas mechanically harvested ranged from 0.24 EUR/kg (peas delivered to the plant) in pomorskie province to 0.31 EUR/kg in podkarpackie province. Prices depend on hardness of peas. The purchase of peas is carried out according to the contracts signed between producers and processing plants.
