Prices of imported lettuces

At the beginning of the second decade of December lettuces imported from UE countries are dominating on the market.

Together with growing euro exchange rate the wholesale prices of lettuces are also rising. On Friday, 12 December in the centre of Poland, prices of lettuces imported from Spain were as follows: iceberg lettuce – 17.63 euro/box of 10 pieces; Lollo bionda and Lollo rossa – 7.56 euro/box of 12 pieces; romaine lettuce – 8.56 euro/box of 10 pieces.
